 With the NEW BAUER ECOSTAR 4200 series control system, you can operate your Rainstar irrigatior most conveniently and time-saving from your mobile phone. You have the possibility of monitoring, starting and stopping your Rainstar from any location with cellular service, by just using your mobile phone. There is no easier way to irrigate more efficiently.
Your communication with the Rainstar is energy saving and takes place by SMS via a modem with SIM card. Included is a solar panel that guarantees sufficient power supply for the electronics and for the SMS transmitter. Therefore, it is unnecessary to recharge the Rainstar battery during the irrigation season.
The modem stores two phone numbers. The number input can be easily entered direct with the SMS 4210 transmitter box. The SMS receiver numbers can be entered whenever needed and can be altered and coordinated by your mobile phone at any time.
Upon dialling the modem on the irrigation machine, within a few seconds the following information is sent back to you by SMS:

The Rainstar operation and above information can be permanently monitored & controlled.
You can begin irrigation (with pressurised, automatic pumping systems) by sending a "START" command, or halt irrigation by sending a "STOP" command to the Rainstar from your mobile phone.
As soon as theRainstar has stopped operating you will receive a call and message "End of Irrigation Strip". You will then know the Rainstar is ready to be moved to the next position. If the Rainstar has stopped automatically within the irrigation strip, you will receive a call and message to inform you why the Rainstarhas stopped, eg. "LOW PRESSURE". The most important reasons for causing the Rainstar to stop are sent to you by SMS.
The ECOSTAR 4200 offers every Grower and operator an efficient and modern communication system that saves money and many hours of labour.
All BAUER RAINSTARS that are equipped with an ECOSTAR computer 4000 or 4100 can be upgraded to an ECOSTAR 4200.
